On a recent episode of his very popular podcast comedian Marc Maron spoke of his storage unit that he maintains primarily for the paperwork from his second divorce, or so he claimed for comedic effect. The point seemed to be that he never knew when he might want to reecplore some of those documents and so keeping them was important. That said he did not want them occupying space in his house for fear that they would continue haunting his head space.
